Hypnotherapy – What is it?

Most people have only been exposed to the kind of hypnosis that has been on the stage. However, hypnosis has a huge potential to alleviate much of our modern day ills, to strengthen your confidence and willpower, to be all that you can be and thus realise your full potential in life and greater happiness.

Used correctly hypnotherapy is an extremely effective, completely drug free, safe, permanent and natural way of treating and healing whatever the mind creates – and I believe that the mind creates everything, including physical illness!

How does it feel to be hypnotised
Most people believe that they will be asleep or not in control when they are in a state of hypnosis. Nothing could be further from the truth. The client is always in control. When we are in hypnosis our minds are actually super alert and very focussed but the body is very comfortably relaxed. It’s a very pleasant, relaxed, daydream like state. It is a state that can be used to free ourselves from everyday stresses and anxiety that plagues so many of us today. This is such good news! And it’s permanent when done correctly.

A hypnotherapist is a trained therapist who can access the subconscious part of your mind using hypnosis to help you make the changes you wish to make so that you can enjoy life much more.
